Herbs for the Nervous System Workshop at Kind Matter Heartland
Hosted by Marissa, founder of Marissa’s Herb Garden
Join us as we explore the world of herbs that have a calming and soothing effect on the nervous system, otherwise called adaptogens and nervines: plants like rose, chamomile, ashwagandha, tulsi, oat, lavender, and more. These common, gentle, yet powerful plants are remedies to our fast-paced world. They are used for relaxation, in times of stress, and for rejuvenating an overburdened nervous system, especially due to the taxing nature of our modern society. We will get acquainted with them herbs and take a holistic approach to using them in your daily life to enhance your quality of life and lifestyle. In this workshop, each participant will have the chance to create a custom tea blend suited to their lifestyle.
This workshop is suitable for all levels, whether you’re new to herbalism or would like to expand your knowledge on these incredible plants. This will also be a fun opportunity to gather with other members of your community and get creative making your own custom tea blend.
Included in this workshop: create your own custom tea blend to take home.
