Chair Yoga 50+

Finally a yoga class where you don’t have to sit on the floor! It’s similar to a typical yoga class but we use our chairs as props for a more gentler practice. Students are encouraged to listen to their bodies and work with any limitations. We focus on flexibility, balance, core and coordination. We start and finish each session with a beginner style meditation to help ease anxiety and stress.

Chair Yoga is for you if….
– You have difficulty sitting on the floor for long periods of time, or getting up and down
– Recently had knee or hip replacement (or considering it)
– Have arthritis or osteoporosis
