Ornamental Grass – Variegated Carex 1gal

Sedges are grass-like plants, mostly preferring sites with moist, rich soil. These variegated varieties form a low cascading clump of leathery leaves with a lime-yellow centre and deep green margins. Brownish flowers are insignificant. A choice plant for edging, or in the rock garden. This is a well-behaved plant. If the tips of the leaves get wind-burn over the winter, they may be trimmed with scissors in the spring. Tolerates dry shade with occasional watering. Grows 12-16″” high and 18-22″” wide. Part shade to full shade.
