Coffee Plant (4″ pot)

The coffee plant is a compact plant with shiney green leaves. Native to Ethiopia does flower in the spring time. The flowers turn into berries and eventually turn into dark pods. Inside these pods are two seeds that are roasted to become coffee beans. Although these seeds are edible and safe for humans the rest of the plant is toxic to pets. It usually takes a few years in ideal growing conditions to produce a flowering coffee plant.
