Monstera ‘Thai Constellation’ (4″ pot)
Has a tropical plant ever been this coveted?
Monstera ‘Thai Constellation’ is a cultivated variety of the popular houseplant, Monstera deliciosa. This beautiful tropical plant features the iconic large, fenestrated leaves of Monstera, with striking variegation of cream and white streaks, speckles, and splotches. Developed in a lab in Thailand, this variety is created using tissue cultures, making it’s replication a slow process. Here’s the latest update about the development of available stock of ‘Thai Constellation’ from the team working to cultivate this variety at Costa Farms. The community demand for Monstera ‘Thai Constellation’ since it’s release has been intense! We’re excited to have a small number of this tropical treasure available to offer at TERRA, for a very limited time, while our small supplies last.
To grow Monstera ‘Thai Constellation’, first know that this plant will get BIG. Expect slow initial growth, but over a period of a few years, Monstera ‘Thai Constellation’ plants can become 4 to 5 feet wide, and up to 7 to 8 feet tall. This plant needs bright, indirect light, and as much humidity as possible. Boost humidity by providing regular misting, grouping plants together, using a pebble tray, or adding a small humidifier to your houseplant area. Leaves begin as heart-shaped, but gradually the plant will begin producing the large, fenestrated (lobed and cut-out) Monstera leaves that you know and love.
When Monstera ‘Thai Constellation’ has outgrown it’s 4″ grower pot, plant in a potting mix made for tropical houseplants that allows for quick drainage.
This plant is sold in a 4″ grower’s pot.
