Senior Dance Class with Meghan: Boogie With The Boxwoods! Mondays 11am-12pm
Sway and groove to the rhythmic beats of salsa, merengue, cha cha, and bachata! A low-impact, beginner-friendly class, no partner is needed. This is a class geared towards seniors.
Meghan has been an avid salsa dancer since traveling to Cuba at the age of 16 on a school trip. She trained with Steps Dance Studio and performed in Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto as part of their amateur team. She completed instructor training in 2020, and in 2022 received the Salsa Foundations certificate from Tito and Tamara Ortos, renowned performers and instructors from Puerto Rico. Her teaching style focuses on making students feel comfortable while learning – fun is the priority! Meghan’s vibrant, warm energy is contagious and her classes often sell out, so don’t miss your opportunity!
