Chair Yoga 50+
A yoga class where you don’t have to sit on the floor! Join us at the TERRA Milton location to move & stretch with Chair Yoga. Similar to a typical yoga class, but using our chairs as props for a gentler, mobility-friendly practice. Students are encouraged to listen to their bodies and work with any limitations. We focus on flexibility, balance, core and coordination. We start and finish each session with a beginner style meditation to help ease anxiety and stress.
Chair Yoga is for you if….
– You have difficulty sitting on the floor for long periods of time, or getting up and down
– Recently had knee or hip replacement (or considering it)
– Have arthritis or osteoporosis
Open to all ages, and geared for participants 50+
